Microneedling After Care Instructions & Tips

Reveal smoother, firmer, and more youthful-looking skin. An ideal treatment to target deeper lines or scars. Maximize results with a series of treatments. For maintenance, book a treatment every few months.

What To Expect

  • You may expect a mild degree of discomfort, redness, and/or irritation after your treatment. This typically diminishes within 24 hours.
  • If you are experiencing any pain or discomfort, you may take Tylenol or use ice to help reduce swelling if necessary.
  • Light scabs may form in the treated area and may remain for 24-48 hours.
  • You may return to your normal skin care routine 4-5 days post microneedling treatment.

What To Do

Day 1: Immediately post-treatment, apply the PolyPeptide Collagel+ face mask. 4 hours later, apply a thin layer of the Barrier Builder, then do so again before bedtime. Do not wash your face until day 2.

Day 2 (AM): Wash with Hydropeptide cleansing gel. Apply a thin layer of Barrier Builder followed by the Solar Dew SPF.

Day 2 (PM): Wash with Hydropeptide cleansing gel. Apply a thin layer of Barrier Builder.

Day 3 and beyond: Continue the ‘Day 2’ process until out of product.

Keep your body hydrated and your skin moisturized.

Wear and reapply sunscreen.

What To Avoid

  • Do not pick or scratch treated skin.
  • Avoid vigorous exercise, sun, and heat exposure, including tanning beds, for 24 hours following your treatment.
  • Avoid warm environments such as hot tubs, steam rooms, saunas, etc.
