Both VI Peel and BioRePeel are chemical peels that aim to improve skin quality, but they differ in a few key ways:
VI Peel is designed to lift pigment, smooth texture, remove sun damage, alleviate acne and scarring, and fight fine lines and wrinkles. It typically causes peeling on days 3 to 5 after application, with most exfoliation subsiding by day 6. Results can be seen within 7 days, and it can be applied every 3 months at most.
BioRePeel is a non-invasive solution that uses natural acids, enzymes, and vitamins to gently exfoliate and stimulate cellular regeneration, with minimal to no downtime. Each session lasts only 15 minutes and generally 4-6 sessions are recommended.
- For BioRePeel, treatments may be clustered as frequently as 7 to 10 days apart for maximum effect (series of 4-6 sessions), or choose a maintanence regimen every 3-4 months to stay looking your best. As always, consult with your Pinch Provider to determine the best schedule for you.
- For VI Peel, it is safe to get treated every 8-12 weeks.
- For BioRePeel, you may experience and instant glow after each session, and results continue to improve over the subsequent weeks.
- For VI Peel, you can typically see results within 7-10 days with peak peeling occurring on days 3 to 5.
Yes, both VI Peel and BioRePeel are considered safe for use on all skin types. However, with VI Peel, caution should be used in clients with darker skin tones as they are more likely to develop Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation. BioRePeel is a non-invasive solution that works for all skin types, tones, and ages, including acne-prone and pigmented skin. It's always best to consult with your provider before starting any new skin treatments.
