Cielo V

Cielo Velandia Kellner is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University with magna cum laude honors. As a nurse, Cielo worked for nearly four years in the field of Dermatology. She then went on to earn her Master of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Georgetown University. She completed a postgraduate Family Nurse Practitioner Fellowship program where she cared for the underserved, predominantly Spanish-speaking patient population at Esperanza Health Centers in Chicago. She is also a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing. Cielo strives to provide compassionate and evidence-based care to all her patients. Cielo has developed a lifelong commitment for treating all diseases of the skin, hair and nails. She has been working as a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner for over a couple years across the Chicagoland suburbs. She is fluent in Spanish and has a particular interest in caring for a diverse patient population across the lifespan. She lives with her husband and two kids in the Chicago suburbs. For fun Cielo enjoys exercising, traveling and spending time with her family.
