First and foremost, a medical spa practices medicine and our job is to keep you safe. Here are the steps we take to ensure the best possible outcome for your treatment.
Every Pinch Providers is a Nurse Practitioners (think RN with an extra graduate degree) with additional training in aesthetics. While this may seem common, 67% of cosmetic procedures at medical spas are performed by an aesthetician.
With news circling around counterfeit botox, there is appropriate concern around the pharma products a medical spa uses. At Pinch, we work directly with Pharma partner like Merz. In addition, there are several FDA approved neuromodulators like Botox and our preferred tox is Xeomin by Merz so we don't even claim to use Botox.
During your at-home medical spa appointment, we are careful to sterilize any surfaces or equipment we use to treat you. And, at home you are less likely to be exposed to anything that may cause you to get sick from another client. When you are in the hospital, you often get sent home ASAP because sticking around is more likely to lead to an infection than recovering at home. With medical spa treatments, like an ear piercing, blood draw or any other procedure that punctures the skin, you're safe at home as long as you have a trained medical professional helping you.
Unlike some med spas, there are riskier treatments we're simply unwilling to perform. We're also careful not to overdose you results in a frozen face. Our providers have access to clinical support, as needed, in the event of an adverse reaction.
Research reviews about Pinch online and you'll see how happy our clients are. Unlike most medical spas, each Pinch provider has a profile page with reviews from prior clients as well.
